The local lake from Bălţi became a landfill. Recently City Hall employees have cleaned the lake that flooded a few houses from the region. Workers have not evacuated the waste, leaving it at the lake's bank. For a month now, locals are only hearing promises.

"They left the trash here claiming that another car will come by to evacuate it, but nobody came."

"They must take out the waste, as it is not beautiful walking and seeing the piles of trash."

Reaching their limits, people begun cleaning themselves. Nearly 100 bags of waste were collected, but despite this, nobody came to evacuate it.

"A woman called and they told her that a vehicle will come by Wednesday, as nobody works anymore. We called before and they promised to send tractors but so far nothing."

"I cannot believe that authorities will not at least give us a vehicle to evacuate the waste."

"This is chaos. I believe that the City Hall should take care of this, as summer is near and soon temperatures will start raising."

Questioned, City Hall employees assured that all the trash will be evacuated this week.
