A pit over one meter deep caused a headache to drivers from the Capital, going on Armenească street. The pit was formed today, after a water pipe broke.
The drivers have expressed their displeasure and claim that it might became a very dangerous issue.
"It is very dangerous. It is good that they set up a warning for drivers, but authorities should take measures."
"A car might fall in there and the pit become even bigger."
"I believe the weather has left its mark. I was scare of driving by, that my car might fall through."
Chief of Municipal Enterprise "EXDRUPO", Adrian Boldurescu claims that the company is not responsible for the pit appearing and that it was caused by some underground waters.
Responsible from Apă-Canal explained that there was an incident, they disconnected water in that zone, while employees have already begun to liquidate the consequences.
"A 151 mm pipe broke because it was old. Our employees were already dispatched on site to perform repair works" chief of press service of Apă-Canal, Nadeja Fotescu said.
The damages will following be estimated and compensated by Apă-Canal.
