PM Filip on Nastase's expletive: It contradicts de facto the European value and principle
PM Pavel Filip condemned the attitude of DA leader Andrei Nastase who again used filthy words to attack journalists.
According to the Moldovan official, Nastase claimed to promote European values which appeared to contradic completely with his behaviors.
"He's a politician who brings hatred, sows division and has raw talks. What you have done is definitely not European value and principle. If we want to become a European Union country, first, we must act as European people. A European politician never uses such expression in front of the public", said PM Filip.
Andrei Nastase continues opposing against journalists, particularly from Publika TV.
At a press conference on Tuesday, Nastase used filth language towards journalists while talking about decency.
"Suddenly I woke up and became the enemy of public, enemy of press because of unethical attitude towards Prime TV journalist. Actually Prime TV comes along with Canal 2, Canal 3 for Publika WC", said DA leader Andrei Nastase.
From the point of Nastase's view, attack against the press is subject to freedom of expression.
"That's what people say, I only mention the people's opinion. I advocate for the freedom of expression", said Nastase.
He has insulted journalists many times within press conferences.
"I need to mention Prime, Canal 2, Canal 3, Publika WC. To be decent, and better as much as you can".
"Do you think you are decent to say Publika WC?"
"This is what you...?"
"It's filthy!"
These offensive attitudes of his have been bitterly criticized by politicians and analysts.
"The press can't be attacked. We need to act as European people. Not like that. The press is usually staying in the opposition with the power and politicians. I was also attacked by press falsely but I never allow myself to attack them", said MIHAI GODEA, politician.
On May 3, DA leader Andrei Nastase appeared on panel of "Enemy of press" installed in front of Parliament headquarter on the World Press Freedom.
Journalists who included Nastase in this list reasoned that this politician attacked journalists of Prime TV.
"On February 12, at a press conference organized by ACUM representatives, Andrei Nastase suddenly grabbed microphone of Prime TV. Moreover, Prime chief editor Ana Butnariuc was accused by ACUM members of asking questions "with guts" and "destroying" the conference", quoted the news to indicate Andrei Nastase was enemy of press.
