PM Pavel Filip: Bilateral cooperation placed Moldovan high priority and the US remains strategic partner
The Moldovan PM Pavel Filip has met with the US Ambassador to Moldova Derek J. Hogan.
The officials discussed bilateral relations in various areas of common interest.
PM Pavel Filip mentions that the Republic of Moldova pays special attention to bilateral cooperation and the US is a strategic partner of our country.
He also expressed his gratitude for US constant support in implementing democratic and structural reforms and strengthening institutional capacity.
Moreover, the officials exchanged views on post-electoral situation in Republic of Moldova, noting the parties have to work to form government transparently which is primary interest of citizens.
They discussed continuous program with the IMF, administrative reforms and trade cooperation between the parties.
A mission of American businessmen will arrive in Chisinau this April. They are potential investors in fields of industry, agriculture, information technology, communications and tourism.
At the end of April, a delegation of US Congress will visit our country.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip stressed the importance of capitalizing on the strategic dialogue between Moldova and the US, stating that the Republic of Moldova still counts on US support and assistance to ensure the country's sustainable development on the basis of Western values.
