PM Pavel Filip's congratulatory message on Union Day
PM Pavel Filip attended National Confederation of Trade Unions (CNSM) occasioned by Union Day. PM appreciated the partnership between government and union, mentioning that this is a partnership for people, for their goodness.
"Everything we have done when I am at power focused on the works we need to do to bring goodness for people. In the last three years, the average pension increased 50% and salary in education was raised 84%, in medicine - 83%. In three years, average salary in economy increased 50% and reached around 7000 lei", said PM Filip.
PM also mentioned that these pensions and salaries are modest though, the works need to be done in complexity: at what point we started and what point we should reach. It's important that this growth rhythm should be continued", said Filip.
For dedication and involvement, the most active members of union were awarded with Honor Diploma of Government.
Union Day is marked on June 7 for the 12th consecutive year.
CNSM is constituted by 25 national central unions which have totally 350,000 members.
