A detective from Chisinau has been caught red-handed as he was receiving 350 euros as a bribe from a man.

The police officer would have asked for the money in order not to investigate the man for cultivating narcotics-related plants.

Now the detective is in the custody of the Anti-Corruption Center (CNA) and may be jailed for 10 years.
