The police have detained two men from Chisinau who produced counterfeited alcohol and sold it at bazaars.

Searching the household of one of them, the police found fake vodka, ethylic alcohol, caps, bottles and canisters.

The police also conducted searches in the household of the other man. They live in localities suburban to Chisinau.

The men faces community work or fines of up to MDL67,000.
