Police launched new campaign "We don't accept corruption in police"
The General Police Inspectorate launched "We don't accept corruption in police" campaign. The campaign targets to prevent the bribery and its consequences.
The effects of the bribery are grave for all the parts. It beats up the democracy, breaks the human rights. This is why it is very important to fight against it. Thus, our actions take part of "We don't accept the bribery in police" campaign", mentioned Alexandru Pinzari, the chief of National Police Inspectorate.
The campaign has three stages. During a year, the policemen will be trained and informed about bribery. Also, the citizens will be informed about the procedures that prevent the bribery.
In 2018, the bribery actions decreased by 40%. At the same time, in the past years, the denouncement on bribery filed increased in the past years.
We mention that in the past three years, the Republic of Moldova police passes through a modernization and development process. It is supported by the support program of the European Union. One of the Police's reform priority is to remove the corrupt policemen from the system.
