The pork and beef was discovered after the National Patrol Inspectorate examined four vehicles near the Central Market.

According to the sources, 18 pig carcasses and 14 cattle carcasses were found.

The drivers, originating from the north of our country, ranging from 25-year-old to 58-year-old, declared that they are lacking the necessary paperwork for the meat and that it was meant to be sold in the Central Market.

They were fined with up to 4.500 lei for transporting meat produce without the necessary legal documents.
