PPEM supports sovereignty and integrity of Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia
European People's Party of Moldova is concerned over breaches in human rights in Transnistrea and is asking officials to put all efforts and solve the issue as soon as possible. In this context, PPEM claims that it fully supports the sovereignty and integrity of Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia.
This statement can be found in a declaration regarding Eastern Partnership, adopted by the Party's leaders. The document also mentioned that the community block was the one to order the cybernetic attacks, disinformation and Russia's aggression toward Eastern Europe.
In order to succeed to face such challenges, those three countries must fight against corruption and strengthen state institutions. Another benefit of reforms implementation would be the fact that those states will receive, without delays.
The declarations also mentions that PPEM encourages talks and cooperation among Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia on their European integration path. Leader from PPEM supports the implementation of the Association Agreement and removal of visa system.
PPEM is one of the factions representing the EU Parliament. It contains 77 members from 41 countries, among whom is the President of the European Commission and president of European Council.
