Premiers of Belarus and Moldova visited winery on Wine Day
“The Moldovan wines are appreciated on the Belarus market and they can be found almost in any store in Minsk,” stated Premier Andrey Kobyakov, on trip to Moldova.
On the Wine Day, the Belrusian official and his Moldovan counterpart Pavel Filip went to a winery. After touring the cellars of Mimi Castle, the two premiers tasted Moldovan wines.
"It’s not for the first time that I taste Moldovan wines. Generally in Belarus, the Moldovan wines are on the shelves of many shops. You’ll always find Moldovan wines in Minsk," Andrei Kobyakov.
"I must confess I don’t drink alcohol. But very seldom. For me all the Moldovan wines are good: red or white," said Premier Pavel Filip.
Belarus is a key economic partner of Moldova.
In 2015, Moldovan companies exported goods worth $130 mn, while the imports were over $84 mn.
The trade turnover reached $100 mn in the first half of this year.
