The president of the country wished the Moldovans many accomplishments and good thoughts. Igor Dodon wished them that all their expectations become true this year.

"2017 is a new page that we are to open and from which we expect good thoughts and happy changes. Everyone hopes the new year will bring more joy, more attainments, more warmth on behalf of one’s relatives. I wish from the bottom of my heart that expectations might become true," Igor Dodon said. 

He also wished the citizens much health: "I wish you a happy New Year, when the destiny may favor our country. And may our joint effort bring us prosperity. La mulți ani! С Новым Годом!"
