President of Moldovan Parliament, Andrian Candu has met today with children and teachers from Alexandru Donici elementary school from Cahul, where traffic laws were discussed and the official urged students and teachers to be more cautious. 

President of Moldova Parliament was impressed by the school's hall dedicated to traffic safety. As ambassador of traffic safety, the officials expressed his gratitude to teachers for the attention offered to the subject.

"I am happy that along with my colleagues from the Parliament we managed to support the acquisition of necessary items for the students, due to a fund raising held during Easter holidays" Andrian Candu said.

During the meeting, pupils were curious to know of the official's family and their relations. Children asked numerous questions requesting support in building a gym within the school. Students also accepted the invitation to visit the Parliament at the end of May.

Also today, Andrian Candu inspected the construction of a new headquarter for the Theater from Cahul and spoke with its actors. The project is financed by Romanian Government and will be finished by the beginning of 2019.

The last visit took place at the regional Hospital from Cahul, where after renovation works was inaugurated a perinatal center. The new maternity ward received modern equipment and can assist around 2 000 births every year, being the second biggest regional maternity ward from Moldova.

President of Moldovan Parliament paid today a visit to Cahul. The official met authorities and entrepreneurs from Cahul and Cantemir district, held a seminar at B.P. Hașdeu State University, inspected the construction of the city's theatre, spoke with teachers and stundets from the regional elementary school and participated at the inauguration of the perinatal center from the regional Hospital Cahul.
