Prime Minister of Moldova, Pavel Filip had a meeting with his Georgian colleague, Giorgi Kvirikashvili
The discussions according to the partnership between Moldova and Georgia, the importance of consolidation good relationship between those two countries were discussed today in Tbilisi. The Prime Minister of Molodva, Pavel Filip had a meeting with Georgian Prime Minister, Giorgi Kvirikashvili. The dialogue between the officials continued within the extended session of the meeting.
The chiefs of Chisinau and Tbilisi governments declared the relationship between the countries is marked by the peer respect and European aspiration of Republic of Moldova and Georgia.
Another subject of the meeting was the implementing the Association Agreement with the European Union. In this sense, the Prime Ministers mentioned that Republic of Moldova and Georgia have common priorities within the relationship with EU and how important it is to share the experience and good maneers.
"We convened to cooperate on this segment in future time too. Together, we represent a better force and this will help us to realize our targets", said Pavel Filip.
The Georgian Prime Minister appreciated the institutional reforms realized by the Government of Republic of Moldova. "For us, the success of Republic of Moldova is very important, as we have the same development direction", said Giorgi Kvirikashvili.
Also, the officials appreciated the beginning of the Intergouvernmental Commission on the commercial and economic cooperation of the Georgian and Molovan entrepreneurs. The next session of the Commission will take place in spring, at Chisinau.
The parts discussed about the cooperation within Democratic Organization and Economy Development. Pavel Filip congratulated the Georgian authorities int he context of exercising the President of GUAM and confirmed Republic of Moldova's interest to continue the initiatives for the 2018 year.
Pavel Filip and Giorgi Kvirikashvili reiterated the peer support in solving the territory conflicts.
"We want to support each other on this segment. It is important to have a permanent communication and to exchange the information according to the progresses", said Pavel Filip.
Within the meeting, Pavel Filip invited the Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Kvirikashvili to visit Republic of Moldova. Also, the Prime Ministers convened to organize the Cultural Days of Moldova in Tbilisi and Georgian Culture Days in Chisinau.
