Prime minister Pavel Filip congratulates Romanian counterpart with National Day
At the beginning of the meeting of Ministers' Cabinet, the prime minister Pavel Filip sent a congratulatory message to his Romanian counterpart, Dacian Ciolos, for the Romanian National Day.
"Today, 1 December 2016, let's congratulate the Romanian nation and the Romanian Government with the National Day. We all know how important is the support of Romania for Moldova. We understood the meaning of the saying "A friend in need is a friend indeed" when the Romanian colleagues helped us in the toughest moments. I am talking about this loan of 60 million euro we received when Moldova needed most, in the moment when the external financing was blocked and it was very difficult for us to manage it. Aside from projects and financing, the special friendly attitude was always important and I felt this from my counterpart Dacian Ciolos. Our objective, the closeness to EU, we have to admit it, it might be reached with the help of Romania. I thank the friends from Bucharest for the support and friendship. We have to assure them that Moldova will be consequent in the integration process. The support of Bucharest is very important and that they share their experience in it."
