Prime minister Pavel Filip had a meeting with head of EU delegation in Chisinau, Pirkka Tapiola
The prime minister Pavel Filip met today the head of the EU delegation in Chisinau, Pirkka Tapiola. in the framework of this meeting, the two officials have discussed the cooperation between the Government of Moldova and the European Union, and the perspectives of moldo-comunitarian cooperation in the following period.
At the meeting were also present the representatives of the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development and representatives of the European Investment Bank.
The prime minister Pavel Filip thanked for the support offered by the EU to Moldova and expressed the openness of the Government for a tight cooperation with the European partners, in order to ensure the effective implementation of the joint projects.
“I wish for the money to be used where it is necessary, ensuring their efficient management. We are open and wait for you to help us fulfill it together” said the prime minister.
The prime minister gave assurance that the governmental team is determined to promote the necessary reforms, even though they are not popular, in order to establish the relations with the external donors and to ensure the country’s durable development.
Pavel Filip stressed out that the financial means from the external assistance will be spent with maximum efficiency and in transparent way.
Mainly, was discussed the course of the project on modernization of Moldovan railways, of those on infrastructure the strengthening of capacities of the state institutions, the development of business environment, the reform of law institutions. Especially were discussed the need of establishing a clear priority of development and the management of given resources.
