Prime Minister Pavel Filip held meeting with Alanna Armitage on implementation of joint projects
Prime Minister Pavel Filip has had a meeting today, June 22nd, with Alanna Armitage, Regional Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of UNFPA.
Officials have appreciated the dynamic and constructive cooperation of the last 20 years and have highlighted further bilateral projects.
Pavel Filip has expressed its gratitude to ONU and UNFPA, for gender equality and the support offered to our country in the implementation of bilateral projects.
The prime minister also welcomed the successful implementation of the UNFPA Country Program 2013-2017 for Moldova.
In this context, Pavel Filip highlighted the support offered by international organizations and the successful implementation of the Reform Agenda:
"I fully confirm Government's will to continue implementing the reform process. There are a lot of problems and setting priorities is very important to achieving them. The support of the development partners allows us to continue achieving modernization and ensuring citizen's welfare" , said Pavel Filip.
In turn, Alanna Armitage congratulated the Government for its ambition and determination in the implementation of reforms, reiterating UNFPA's willingness to continue providing Moldovan assistance to the priority reforms.
