Pro Moldova calls on Government to offer FREE masks to all citizens
The PRO MOLDOVA parliamentary group calls on the Government to offer free masks to all citizens. In a post on Facebook, PRO MOLDOVA MP Ruxanda Glavan mentioned that the price of disposable masks increased considerably during the coronavirus pandemic, from 1.5 to 8 and even 10 lei, an amount that not everyone can afford.
"All public institutions must have free masks at the entrance. The same thing must be organized at the entrance to any building or open public space. Risk groups must receive these masks at home, as well as civil servants who have daily contact with citizens ", Ruxanda Glavan mentioned in a Facebook post.
Moreover, Glavan said that people do not have the money to buy masks, they buy a disposable mask and wear it for two or three weeks.
Asked by Publika TV, the adviser of the Prime Minister Vitalie Dragancea declared that the Pro Moldova MPs must prepare a project for the amendment of the State Budget law in order to identify the necessary financial sources.
PUBLIKA.MD recalls that Ion Chicu previously said that wearing masks becomes mandatory in open public spaces and urged people to buy them.
