A professor at a vocational school in Bălți was detained by North DGT offiders of CNA and anti-corruption prosecutors, suspected of corruption. 

According to the investigation, the man allegedly claimed and received money from students. This happened during exam sessions, starting from 2016. 

If found guilty, the teacher risks 5 to 10 years of jail and fine of 300,000 to 400,000 lei and the deprivation of the right to hold certain public positions or to exercise a certain activity for a period of 7 to 10 years.
