Public health emergency extended to September 15
The Extraordinary National Commission for Public Health has decided to extend the state of emergency in public health until September 15. Respectively, the deadline for applying all applicable restrictions is also extended.
From September 1, the school and preschool institutions will be reopened based on clear instructions and with strict observance of the sanitary-epidemiological norms. The decision to resume school activity belongs to the founders. If they do not meet the required conditions, they will not receive an operating license.
Because the reopening of schools will be a major challenge in the fight against COVID-19, CNESP members reiterated the importance of complying with the 3 golden rules to tackle the pandemic: frequent hand hygiene, observance of physical / social distance of 1 meter and proper wearing of masks in enclosed spaces and crowded places.
