Raids carried out in file of Chisinau International Airport concession
Eight raids were carried out at offices, cars of four members of government commission who analyzed the Chisinau International Airport concession, spokesman of Anti-corruption Prosecutor's Office Cătălina Bogonos confirms.
After these raids, four persons targeted will attend the hearings.
Talking to Publika TV, the Office announced its prosecutors yesterday conducted raids at house of Democrat deputy Vladimir Cebotari for the airport concession case. On Thursday, 53 PSRM-ACUM MPs voted in favor of abolishing Cebotari's immunity at the request of acting general prosecutor Dumitru Robu.
Prosecutor Robu accused Vladimir Cebotar, who was Deputy Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure at that time, of informing some potential investors without knowing if they would intend to do business in Moldova.
PDM deputy denied the wrongdoing and declared it was Government who made decision on this airport concession deal. Maia Sandu was also member of Government at that time.
