Hundreds of people are protesting at the moment in the heart of Chisinau. Supporters of PPDA leader, Andrei Năstase have gathered in front of the City Hall.

The decision taken by the Court of Appeal to not validate the mayoral elections from Chisinau has angered supporters of PPDA, PAS and PLDM.

Many people from the country's districts have also joined the protest, despite the fact that they did not participate or had the right to vote for Chisinau's Mayor.

After spending half an hour of protesting in front of Chisinau City Hall, people have moved to the Great National Assembly Square.

Public order is at the moment ensured by dozens of officers.

At the same time, yesterday, police started a criminal case for instigating bloodshed during the protests planned for today, June 24. The announcement was made by representatives of General Police Inspectorate. Therefore, officers have identified multiple people with false accounts on social media that are the prime suspects.
