Rascani explosion: Residents of the block of flats can return to their homes
The residents of the block of flats from Moscow boulevard that was affected by explosion two months ago can host its residents now. The announcement was made by Nistor Grozavu, the vice mayor of the Capital. He inspected the building with Chiril Gaburici, the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure and the director of the company that evolved the repair works.
All the flats were connected to heat system, electricity and tap water. The residents didn't return to their flats yet. The owners of the ten flats that were seriously damaged can't return yet.
"The other owners benefit of repaired flats", said Nicolae Balaur, the branch of Riscani sector.
In two months, 100 workers did their best to repair the flats.
"We did our best to repair the damaged flats", mentioned Vladimir Tonu, the director of the building company.
"The flats are already repaired. Now, the residents can return home", said Chiril Gaburici, the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure.
The municipality spent 10 million lei to repair these flats. We remind that in October an explosion occurred in a 21 floors block of flats. Five persons died among whom a four year old child.
