Republic of Moldova will begin negotiations with Republic of Kazakhstan on labor migration
The Government has approved during today's meeting to start negotiations on the Agreement between Republic of Moldova and Republic of Kazakhstan on labor migration.
The project aims to consolidate intergovernmental cooperation partnerships in regulating migration, by protecting the rights of migrant workers from both states, who are temporarily employed.
To implement the Agreement, competent authorities from both states will promote regional cooperation in labor migration and will inform each other about the changes made within the legislation in the field of labor and labor migration, employment, emigration and immigration.
At the same time, the living conditions of those employees, labor market, as well as employers and organizations who have the right to hire foreign workers will be monitored.
Here, authorities wish to create a common working group to solve all issues tied to the implementation of the Agreement, that will meet in Republic of Moldova and Republic of Kazakhstan.
Within the negotiations, that will supposedly take place through correspondence, Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection will reiterate its obligations to promote through said Agreement the rights of migrant workers, manage the migration flow between both states, as well as ensure legal migration. After the negotiations will finalize and the Agreement will be drawn, the Ministry will suggest its signing.
