Republican hospital receives donation to improve healthcare services

The Republic Hospital patients will be treated in much better conditions. The Netherlands has sent humanitarian aid, which includes 35 modern beds, wheelchairs, tables and medical equipment. The total worth of the donation is estimated at two million lei.
The old beds in the Surgery department will be replaced with new ones worth of 2,500 euros each. Patients say the new beds are way more comfortable, because they can adapt them to their personal needs.
This year, the Republican Hospital in Chisinau celebrates two hundred years since its foundation. On this condition, the administration of the hospital wants to improve the health conditions.
The institution has received five donations from Belgium and the Netherlands in the last 15 months.
