Alarming situation in Budesti. The bridge from the entrance of the village, which passes over a depth of nearly 12 meters, has cracks of almost ten centimeters. While the State Road Administration officers are assuring the bridge is safe, people in the village say they are afraid when cross the bridge as it might collapse.
"The bridge is covered by cracks and it can collapse anytime."
The bridge was damaged after an accident that took place a couple of months ago. The most affected is the path where people pass by.
"What if something happens? What if it fells? Children walk on this road when they go to school."
The mayor of the village says that the problem will be solved.
"The pupils cross this bridge when they go to school. Nearly 100 children cross it daily", said Nina Costiuc, the mayor of Budesti.
The bridge is managed by the State Road Administration. The representatives of the institution have been to analyze the collapse danger.
"The danger is not that big. The bridge is resistant", said Mihai Nistreanu, director of S.A Criuleni.
The bridge from Budesti was built in 1985. Is hasn't been repaired ever since.
