Roads from Ialoveni rehabilitated within Good Roads for Moldova project (PHOTOREPORT)
The roads from Ialoveni will soon improve. Those are being at the moment rehabilitated within the national program launched by the Government.
In those days, workers are repairing the roads from Suruceni, Dănceni, Malcoci and Piatra Albă villages. Meanwhile, some portions from Gangura are already done.
In Gangura village was also build from the scratch a bypassing road.
"First was put a 12 cm layer of gravel, then a 5 cm layer of asphalt and another 4 cm layer of asphalt. We still need to paint the markings and the road is ready to be used" director of „Drumuri-Ialoveni” (Ialoveni Roads), Ștefan Caunov said.
"This is extraordinary. The works are of good quality."
Also in Gangura, workers have laid a layer of gravel on one of the settlement's main road.
People claim that previously, this road was unusable.
"This is great. A good road does much for us."
"It was filled with potholes. It used to be hard to go anywhere by car."
In Piatra Albă village, the road leading to the local kindergarten was repaired.
"The new road is formed out of an 18 cm layer of gravel and two layers of asphalt of 5 and 4 cm. Tomorrow works will be finalized, the road is 500m long" entrepreneur Ion Covali said.
Soon, the Ştefan cel Mare street from Suruceni village will also look like new.
"There were potholes that destroyed our cars. When it rained, the street was filled with mud."
"We are happy that the road is begin rehabilitated, we waited years for this to happen."
To repair the roads from the 35 villages from Ialoveni were allocated 43 million lei. The Good Roads for Moldova project was suggested by leader of PDM, Vlad Plahotniuc, and foresees for nearly 1 200 km of roads being repaired. For this project were invested 1.6 billion lei.
