Romanian, Moldovan Cabinets to hold joint reunion in Romanian town
Moldovan Premier Pavel Filip has met with Romanian ambassador Daniel Ionita in order to better plan a joint sitting of the Moldovan and Romanian Governments in Piatra Neamţ, Romania, on March 23.
The common issues to be discussed refer to economy, power, social topics, education, finances, judiciary and police. Special attention will be granted to the power intertwining of the two countries.
"Romania tendered us a helping hand exactly in the time we needed it mostly. Given the financial aid and its efficient usage, we managed to unfreeze the foreign financing and overcome the crisis our country was thrown into 2015," Pavel Filip said.
"Moldova is a strategic priority in Romania’s foreign policy and we’re ready to help in attaining the European integration," said the Romanian envoy.
