Ruslan Codreanu reported on his activities as interim mayor, a position he held for half a year. About his achievements, the former council spoke at a conference on a construction site for a kindergarten.

Among his achievements, Codreanu highlighted the renovation and construction of several recreation areas, the homeless children's foster center and the rehabilitation of the parks.

Asked if he will participate in local elections this fall, he declined to answer.

Ruslan Codreanu was appointed as interim mayor in November 2017. Until then he was a municipal councilor on the lists of the European People's Party of Moldova. He started his professional activity at the Ministry of Economy. The acting mayor was taken over by Adrian Talmaci, municipal councilor.
