Russia's food sanitation watchdog, Rosselkhoznadzor, has imposed a temporary ban, since August 2, on delivery of live pigs and pig-breeding production from Romania in connection with registration of the center of AChS in this country, reports the Russian department on Wednesday.
The Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Inspection Service said in a statement that the ban is due to the discovery of an outbreak of African swine fever in Romania.
