Secondary school of Ion Voda village to undergo optimization process
One of schools listed in optimization process is secondary school from Ion Vodă village, Floreşti district. Because of the small amount of students, the 4th and 7th grades will not be formed. In addition, owing to lack of teaching staff, 38 students will start their academic year in Roșietici village which 20 kilometers far away.
Some parents agree with the closure of this school, especially since some classes do not exist for a long time.
"The sixth grade was taken out of school and was sent to another place, I walked to Cotiujenii Mici in the snowy winter".
"The children are not taught, I have three children at this school, now I come to bring the papers and take them to Nicolaevca or Floreşti."
There are other parents who are worried the way to new school will be a torment.
"It's not normal to wake him up at six o'clock and let him go to school in such a long journey."
Four of the nine professors in the village of Ion Vodă are to be re-enacted in the Roşietici schools.
"Lack of physics specialist, physical discipline" said Ion Vodă, head of the school, Svetlana Bodiu.
According to the Floreşti Education Department, the school in the village of Ion Voda has a budget deficit of almost 200 thousand lei per year. Of the nine teachers, two are employed by moonlighting, and three are retired. They are not the all problems.
"All three classes at primary level are studying in one class. According to the financing formula, each year they have a budget deficit, that is, they do not have enough money to pay for the teaching staff of the institution," said the boss Directorate General for Education Floresti, Tudor Tertea.
In Floreşti rayon the secondary school in the village of Bursuc will also be optimized. The 16 students will be transferred to the school from Japca.
