A 39-year-old man from Făgădău village was detained by law enforcement and is suspected of stealing from a church in the town of Soroca.

On July 31, unknown people broke into "Adormirea Maicii Domnului" curch in Soroca town, where they stole cash and property.

A material damage of 35,370 lei was made, because they stole 500 lei, 20 necklaces with crosses, 200 euros, a large 400 euros cross made of silver  and one gilded.

Police has detained the one who committed the misdeed following the hot traces and they found both goods and money.

The man is not at his first law deviation.

A criminal case was initiated for "Stealing" and if the suspect is found guilty he risks up to 4 years imprisonment.
