Moldova confirms six new case of coronavirus infection, ANSP director, Nicolae Furtuna has announced on March 18.

There are totally 34 patients with COVID-19 in Moldovan hospital at the moment. 

President Igor Dodon has urged the media not to disseminate false information and warned people who spread false information will be fined. 

According to Health Minister Viorica Dumbrăveanu, there are 160 places in the Toma Ciorbă hospital with 65 places for infected persons. The Health Ministry hospital no.2 was also activated.
