Slight snow in Moldova, 120 vehicles dispatched on national roads
The slight snow in the Northern and Central part of the country forced 120 vehicles and 256 employees to be dispatched on national roads, to spread over 1 800 tons of skidproof material.
According to State Road Administration, all roads from the country are usable, while drivers will not meet any obstacles.
At the same time, according to the current Traffic law, drivers are warned:
- Make sure your vehicle has snow tires;
- The car must have snow chains, shovel, ice scraper and a bag of sand;
- Check the car's heating, level of antifreeze, windscreen wiper;
- Check the brakes;
- Maintain distance between vehicles.
Pedestrians are also urged to only use the sidewalk, cross the streets only in proper places.
For the next few days, meteorologists announce that temperatures will slightly drop.
By the end of the week, thermometers will indicate at most +4 degrees Celsius.
On Thursday are forecast showers, while on Friday, in the Northern and Central part, snow.
