Three persons are blamed of smuggling goods. The suspects were buying the goods from Ukraine and were bringing those in Moldova by a boat.

The suspects were detained while transporting the goods on Nistru river. The customs service detained three vehicles where three consignments were found. Within the parcels, there were found shoes, self care products and other goods.  

The goods were worth approximately one million lei.

If found guilty, the men risk up to ten years in prison.
