Snow fall has passed but its consequences didn't. 62 villages from seven districts face power cut
62 villages from seven districts continue to face power cut after the abundant snow from Thursday, announced the General Inspectorate for Emergency situations. The districts that face the power cut are the following ones: Criuleni, Căușeni, Ștefan Vodă, Anenii Noi, Taraclia, Cimișlia and Găgăuzia.
According to the Roads State Administration, the traffic on the national roads takes places without any difficulties. Anyway, the traffic to Lipceni and Surcova villages from Rezina district and Zvezdociva and Florica villages from Causeni district is blocked. In the last 24 hours the rescues and the firemen had seven calls.
"In the last 24 hours, the rescues and firemen had seven calls to help the cars that got stuck in snow or ditches. The rescues and firemen were called in Șoldănești, Anenii Noi, Criuleni, Taraclia, Dubăsari, Rezina, Orhei and Cantemir", declared Liliana Puscasu, press oficer of IGSU.
Because of the abundant snow, many districts faced power cut. Also, there were registered traffic problems at Saiti-Lesnoe customs. According to the border police, on the other customs, the traffic doesn't have any circulation problems.
To liquidate the consequences of the abundant snow fall, almost 500 rescues and firemen intervened with 135 winter service vehicles.
