Dozens of families in Rezina will receive free houses. The young professionals who work in schools and hospitals, and large families have a place to live.

Today, April 4th, a project of reconstruction of a building of 72 apartments was launched with the help of European funds and local budgets.

The President of Rezina district, Eleonora Graur believes that this project will encourage young people not to leave the village.

The authorities assure that the construction of other 70 social houses in Falesti and Glodeni will start soon.

The total project cost is approximately 2.2 million euros of which 65 percent is provided by Council of Europe Development Bank.

The rest is contributed by local authorities. 700 houses will be built by the end of 2018.
