Speaker Andrian Candu explains recovery of defrauded money from banking system
The parliamentarians have gathered in a special meeting. At the end of it, Parliament speaker, Andrian Candu, has explained in details the way the defrauded money from the banking system will be recovered.
Also the official said that this subject was speculated for a long time without opening the law.
“There is a very big confusion, the state issues obligations and offers them to National Bank. The state will pay the rate of interest in the benefit of National Bank, the income from the rate of interest will be paid back to the state through dividends. The great majority of the sum will be given back to the state in dividends. The papers will be ransomed by National Bank throughout the time. Those who are working with bond papers has to know how it works” said Andrian Candu.
At the same time, the speaker denied the speculations according to which the money will be returned during 25 years from the citizens’ pockets.
“It was speculated without opening the law. The rate of interest is 1.4%, and those who like aberrations didn’t even open the law. At present time, the state has recovered 700 million from the procedure of liquidation of banks, a procedure still in course. Also, other money will be recovered from actives which will be seized, their value being estimated to 3.5 billion lei” said Andrian Candu.
