Staff of Barcelona airport on partial strike - alert from Moldova's external ministry

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, following the information of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Spain, informs the Moldovan citizens, who intend to travel or transit through El Prat Airport in Barcelona, that on August 4, 2017 and later during the month, the security staff (Eulen) of the Barcelona Airport start a partial strike (between 5:30 - 6:30, 10:30 - 11:30, 16:30 - 17:30 and 18:30 - 19:30 ) on Fridays, Sundays and Mondays.
According to the company's management, mid-August the strike will be extended throughout the day (24 hours) for an indefinite period. It is assumed that the strike will significantly disrupt the activity of El Prat airport. The risks may be: delays or overlapping of flights, loss of luggage.
