Starting Monday young people can submit requests to apply for the First House Project
Minister of Finance, Octavian Armașu declared during a press conference that starting Monday, March 26 2018, young people can submit requests at the Bank and apply for the First House Project. This program is accessible and is meant to help the young generation.
"The First House Project is meant to support young families in purchasing a house. The state will offer a guarantee to assist the beneficiaries. This program offers social liens, so that young people will no longer need to have this concern when gaining their First House. The credit is made as accessible as possible for young people that do not have the financial means to purchase their First House.
The Conditions of the First House are: a 25 year mortgage, to reduce the monthly payment. For clarity, the commissions was limited to get lower rates. In order to facilitate the transactions the state taxes were also reduced. The fee for the notary is of 1 percent, the mortgage fee is of 50 lei.
We wish for young people to build a future at home. Lack of housing makes them try their luck in another country.
To support the young people, we managed a call center, where they can receive all information and apply to this project. A web page for the First House Project was also created, containing all the data. We have three banks ready to offer mortgage loans: Moldindconbank, VictoriaBank and Moldova Agroindbank.
Much was done and I wish to thank all colleagues who worked to create this project, the Organization for Small and Medium Enterprises Sector Development and the banks. I wish to express my gratitude to those from the Ministry of Public Finance of Romania.
Our project is very similar to the First House program from Romania. Starting Monday, March 26, all young people can already submit requests to receive their First House" Minister of Finance, Octavian Armașu declared.
PUBLIKA.MD reminds that the First House project was approved at the Parliament at the of last year. Only people under 45, with an official employment and that don't own real estate, or other mortgage loans are eligible to apply.
