State budget for 2018 voted to provide higher incomes and expenditures
The state budget for 2018 was voted in final reading. The project, supported by 55 deputies, provides higher incomes and spending than in 2017 by up to 10 percent.
More specifically, revenues are over 36 billion lei, 8.4 percent more than last year. Expenditures are estimated at more than 41 billion lei, with an increase of 9.4%.
The President of Parliament said that all the conditions set by the International Monetary Fund for the granting of the second installment of financial assistance amounting to 22 million dollars were met.
"We can enter a new financial-budget year without any problem. In the state budget, over two billion lei will be invested in roads and roads infrastructure, pensions", said Andrian Candu, the Speaker of Parliament.
MEPs also voted in final reading on fiscal and customs policy and the Law on State Social Insurance Budget. According to the document, revenues and expenditures exceed 19 billion lei, almost 2 billion more than in 2017.
At the same time, the Law on compulsory health insurance funds provides equal incomes and expenses in the amount of over 6 billion lei.
Compared to 2017, revenue growth is projected to increase by 10.2 percent and expenditure by 8.5 percent.
According to the document, the cost of the compulsory medical insurance policy in 2018 will remain unchanged, ie it will be 4,056 lei.
