Moldova celebrates the State Flag Day. Starting this morning, many pastors sanctified the flag that was hoisted in front of the Defense Minister.

Pavel Filip also participated at the event and thanked the soldiers for the thing that they make the all possible to maintain the peace. Pavel Filip talked bout the luck of patriotism of some politicians.

"This flag is not only a piece of cloth. It has a soul when you touch it and this is why I want to thank you. The patriotism and love for the country doesn't mean great words. When you post some beautiful words on Facebook and then you leave abroad is not patriotism", said Pavel Filip. 

Pavel Filip alse referred to the army reform. 

"The military service will be no longer compulsory. We want to provide you the required conditions, so you will think more on the military service, rather than on leaving the country", said Pavel Filip.

On the holiday occasion, there were organized fests in the whole country.

"We invited historians, people who fought to gain the interdependence of the Republic of Moldova", said Nicolae Mardari, military.

The militaries say that they are honored to defend the country.

"I have been in Romania and participated at the military parade from 2016 and 2017. It is hard, but beautiful."

The officials who participated at the meeting took a moment of silence in memoriam of Gheorghe Vrabie, the author of the State coat of arms. At the end of the fest, the Honor Guard scrolled.
