State obtained more than 166 million lei following the three rounds of privatizations organized last year. Altogether, the authorities sold stake packages held in 16 companies.

According to the data provided by the Public Property Agency, the companies auctioned in 2017 were Glass Container Company, where the state owned almost one third of the shares, the Floare-Carpet Company, where the share was 60 percent, and the dairy factories in Vulcănești and Floreşti.

In 2016, the revenues from privatizations were 321 million lei.
