A fire occurred near Straseni bus terminal. A storage of house utensils and a parking place of agriculture cars caught fire last night. The fire overwhelmed a 1 500 square meters surface.

Besides the storage, many tractors that were parked in the nearby also caught fire. The firemen have been fighting for a couple of hours with the fire.

"After the fire, all the agriculture cars were affected. At the same time, nobody had to suffer. At 12 pm the fire was started to be extinguished", said Liliana Puscanu, IGSU press officer.

14 service vehicles and 80 firemen from Calarasi, Straeni district and Capital were trained to extinguish the fire. 

The eyewitness think that the fire occurred because of the agricultural technique.

"It started near the tractors and extinguished here in a half of an hour."

The storage was renovated a couple of days before and should have been starting to work these days.

"Fridges, TV sets, ACs and agricultural machines, it all burned. People wanted to open their own business. They took great loans.

The firemen will establish all the circumstances of the fire.
