Strășeni Sports School rebuilt financed by state budget. Pavel Filip informs project value
Strășeni Sports School will be rebuilt and upgraded with the Government's financial support. 7 million lei from state budget has been offered for this purpose.
City residents back up the Government's initiative to modernize the project.
"It's good for the young to have well-built facility so that they don't go abroad", said a local.
Young people're eager for the new school.
"Sports school is very important for children who want to do sports," confirmed a teenager.
The financial allocations correspond to the objective announced by Prime Minister Pavel Filip to invest and modernize the education and youth field.
"We need to invest in the future in order to have a prosperous future and reach the EU countries's development. Only well-educated country can offer long-term sustainable development solutions", said Pavel Filip .
Deputy director of the sports school in Strășeni, Sergiu Răileanu, says that modernization will allow his disciples to increase their performances.
"We have very strong disciples. Nichita Anastasia is the world champion and Drăguțanu Mariana - European champion. Five students are in Moldova's selection".
Sergiu Răileanu, the deputy director of the sports school, is convinced that, after the modernization, the school will meet its needs.
"The size of sport grounds have to meet the requirements. We only have volleyball ground that corresponds the requirements.".
The total value of the school's modernization project is 16 million lei.
