Police will be more trained to ensure public order and security during the election period, on the day of the Parliamentary Elections and the Republican Consultative Referendum on 24 February.

Today the leadership of the Police Inspectorates in Chisinau, the heads of the Police, other decision-makers of the Capital Police, participated in a working session.

The meeting was chaired by the adjunct Chief of the Chisinau Police Department, Silviu Musuc, together with Alexandru Berlinschi, Deputy Head of the General Directorate of the Central Electoral Commission, as a result of which police officers were trained on how to intervene in various situations, interaction with the competent institutions, as well as the way to ensure the guarding of the polling stations and the electoral materials and other activities that are attributed by the Police Law.
