Study: Republic of Moldova ranks first in Eastern Partnership in terms of reforms and respecting European standards
The annual studies that investigates that progress of the six member state of the Eastern Partnership shows that Republic of Moldova ranks first in terms of reforms and respecting European standards. The authors of this research consider that Republic of Moldova has shown best results at the chapter of durable democracy and policies against discrimination and responsibility.
At the same time, we are first in terms of freedom, security and justice, but fall behind Ukraine when it comes to convergence and European ingratiation.
Another strong point of Moldova is long-lasting development. Moldova is the only country from the 6 member states of the Eastern Partnership that had visa requirements removed within the Schengen Area, which places it first in terms of "European Citizens".
The document shows that at the implementation of the Association Agreement, most progress was registered in Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine.
European Union is also the main commercial partner of Moldova and Ukraine, both in import and export.
The research has taken into consideration the evolution registered during 2015 -2016.
