Sweden to further support Moldova's European integration

On the sidelines of the 23rd meeting of Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), held in Hamburg, Germany, on 8-9 December, Deputy Foreign and European Integration Minister Lilian Darii today met State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden Annika Söder, Moldpres reports.
During the talks, the two officials made an overview of the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations. They expressed mutual interest in intensifying bilateral political dialogue and the cooperation within the frameworks of international organizations. Deputy Minister Darii thanked for the technical assistance and expertise provided by Sweden in the implementation of important projects in the field of human rights and gender equality, strengthening democracy, energy and agriculture.
For her part, State Secretary Annika Söder assured that Sweden will continue to be a strong supporter of the reform process and the European course of the Republic of Moldova.
