The Embassy of Sweden, in partnership with the Swedish Board of Agriculture, will support the National Food Safety Agency of Moldova in building its institutional and functional capacities.

The project aims to increase the overall quality of services and safety of food products, promote trade, industry and compliance with EU-standards.

The 3-year project in the amount of 21 million SEK has been launched on the 23 January 2017 with the participation of Signe Burgstaller, the Ambassador of Sweden in Chisinau, Gheorghe Gaberi, the Director General of the National Food Safety Agency and Vasile Luca, the deputy minister of Agriculture and Food Industry.
