New hearings in case of spoiled food delivery in kindergartens and schools
The Parliament members have organize new hearings in the case of altered food delivered to kindergartens and schools. The special committee of Parliament established in this case has been today, January 20th, to report on the management representatives of the Ministry of Education, National Center for Education Anti-Corruption Directorate of the Capital.
Subsequently will be heard representatives of the Ministry of Health, Agriculture, National Centre for Public Health, experts from the Public Procurement Agency and other state institutions.
The Members of the committee will come up with legislative proposals to improve the process of selecting companies that supply food.
In the case of altered food delivered to educational institutions, 17 people have been detained, including ten employees of the Education sector in capital.
